St. Peter’s Kids Kamp 2019 was one for the books! Thanks to everyone who made this past week so amazing!
Kids Kamp 2019 has come to an end here at St. Peter’s! Thank you to all the awesome campers, parents, group leaders and volunteers that made this week so great!

A committee at St. Peter’s has come up with proposals to improve our current constitution and bylaws. A series of informational meetings to discuss these changes will be held on: •Sunday, June 9th at 2:00pm •Wednesday, June 12th at 7:00pm •Thursday, June 20th at 7:00pm •Tuesday, June 25th at 7:00pm Please try to attend one of these meetings to learn more about these proposed revisions. This will help you become an informed voter on the matter at our July Voters’ Meeting!
Grief Share Support classes give one the opportunity to discuss with others who are facing feelings of loss. This class is ongoing and designed to educate and encourage anyone experiencing grief of any kind. This class meets each Sunday at 9:30am in the education building. If you wish to have a one-on-one confidant, a Stephen Minister is a great place to start. See Pastor Kevin for more information.
Our 3rd Annual Independence Day celebration is coming up on June 30th! We will have one service that Sunday at 10:45am with Sunday School before at 9:30. After the service, we will share a meal of hot dogs, hamburgers, the fixin’s, and homemade ice cream. Several volunteers are needed to help grill and make ice cream. Pentecost & Confirmation Sunday are THIS SUNDAY! Please note there will only be one service at 10:45am with Sunday School before at 9:30am. Confirmands Dallas, Grace, Kalissa & Kaylyn will make a public confession of their faith in Christ Jesus and become active communing members of St. Peter’s! The congregation is invited to wear red to recognize the presence of God’s Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Scriptures: Genesis: 11:1-11; Acts 2:1-21; John 14:23-31; Psalm 143
Graduate Sunday will be June 16th! If you or a family member are graduating this spring from college, high school, or preschool, please get information and/or photo to Jeannette in the church office no later than June 9th.
We are excited to announce that on Sunday, June 23rd at 4:00pm, our Certified Lay Minister, Robert Eric Hauss, will be ordained into the Holy Ministry as an Associate Pastor at St. Peter’s. Please join us for this special service as we celebrate the work the Lord is doing through Eric’s life and the many ways he has and will continue to bless our congregation at St. Peter’s! A covered dish celebration meal will follow the service.

St. Peter’s Annual Kid’s Kamp will be June 17th-21st this year! The camp is for rising 2nd-7th graders at a cost of $75 for the week/child. The week will be filled with devotions, crafts, and afternoon activities like swimming and bowling! Message us for more information!
We will begin a New Members this Sunday, May 26th during the Sunday School hour (9:30-10:30am). This 8 week class is for anyone interested in becoming a member at St. Peter’s, learning more about the Lutheran understanding of the Christian faith or refreshing their knowledge of Luther’s Small Catechism. Message us if interested!

A Dementia Caregiver Support Group will be offered on a monthly basis at St. Peter’s beginning on Thursday, May 23rd at 2:00pm in the Spirit Center. Emily Jaynes from the Alzheimer’s Association will be a guest speaker.
